Page to Stage is an annual festival set up to celebrate and encourage new writing. Although the first festival took place in September 2014, it proved to be the wrong time of year for such an event, and all subsequent festivals will be held over a two-week period in the Spring. During the festival, various venues in Liverpool will host a number of performances of up to ten one-act-plays (selected by open, competitive submission), commissioned works, workshops, talks and panel discussions.Page to Stage is connected to a broader network of arts organisations, including its partner organisations – Merseyside Script Initiative and MSI Presents, theatres, theatre companies, training organisations, as well as other festivals and arts organisations. It also has connections to a wide network of theatre professionals.

This last performance is in a double-bill with "Our Gift," at "Scouse and Show" (Carers' Dramas) evening, for which there is a separate ticketing page.
PLAY SYNOPSIS
Janet returns unexpectedly to the family home from Greece, concerned about the health of her elderly father, Frank. Her sister, Louise not only cares for her father but runs her own home, looking after her husband Pete and her son John. John is particularly close to his grandfather.
Louise is resentful that Janet has returned unannounced. She is feeling stressed over the care of their father. Louise reveals to Janet that their father has got Alzheimer’s disease and it is getting worse when Janet gets a new dog for her father.
The sisters agree to look at care homes for their father although Janet is reluctant. Having found nothing suitable Janet suggests he lives with her in Greece. Louise objects as John won’t see his grandfather. Shortly after going in care Frank passes away. The house is left to John. Janet returns home at Christmas hoping to persuade Louise to contest the will. Louise has no interest in doing so she has had enough to cope with following the death of her husband Pete.
Janet is adamant she will contest the will accusing Louise of obtaining Power of Attorney without her consent and will see her in court.
