About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Can your bridge take the strain? In this workshop, you’ll become an engineer for the day as you build a bridge using only sticks, glue, and your imagination. Then, we’ll test each bridge to destruction to see which design holds the most weight!

What you’ll do:

Learn about simple bridge structures and engineering basics

Sketch out a design and build it using lollipop sticks and hot glue

Test your bridge’s strength using weights until it fails

Compete (just for fun!) to see which team makes the strongest design

Learn about tension, compression, and real-world engineering through a playful, practical challenge.

Who is it for? Ideal for ages 8+ (younger participants welcome with adult supervision). Great for curious minds, future engineers, and team-building fun.
