Brief Interpersonal Methods for Arts Therapists Working with Depression
Wed 29 March 2017, 09:15 – 16:30 BST
Recent figures tell us that over 19% of the adult population suffers with symptoms of depression. Therefore the importance of providing an effective and accessible form of treatment is important to the patient, clinician and commissioner.
A central part of the training day is about how we identify and give shape to relational patterns that cause, exacerbate or maintain depressive symptoms. We also look at how to develop a relational focus that can be worked with in brief treatment. We hope that you will join us for a creative, engaging and intensive day where you will see how arts can be successfully used to facilitate the process.
