Following last week's publication of CQC's Consultation – 'Our next phase of regulation', we are delighted to invite you to attend one of our briefings in London or Birmingham.

The Consultation sets out some interesting proposals for the future regulation of the adult social care sector including:

  • a new on-line Provider information collection tool;

  • changes to the frequency of inspection;

  • increased focus on the 'Well-led' domain;

  • a more robust response to services repeatedly rated as 'Requires improvement';

  • and the possibility of action being taken at provider level in relation to systemic issues across a group.

Birmingham, 4 July 2017

Bevan Brittan, Clydesdale Yorkshire Bank, and GVA are delighted to host a briefing from Sue Howard, CQC Deputy Chief Inspector Adult Social Care. As well as covering CQC's proposals for the future regulation of adult social care, the session will also address the current state of care in the West Midlands

London, 26 July 2017

Bevan Brittan and Clydesdale Yorkshire Bank are delighted to host an event at which James Frewin, CQC Head of Inspection, Adult Social Care (London) will discuss the consultation and what the proposed changes mean. The event will focus on adult social care providers but providers from all sectors are very welcome to attend.

There is much for providers to consider, and little time to respond – the Consultation closes on 8 August. The event should, therefore, provide an excellent opportunity to consider the implications of CQC's proposals together with the regulator, other providers, and advisers and assist providers in getting their voice heard in the Consultation process.

Who Should Attend?

  • Health and Social Care Providers

  • Chief Executives

  • Finance Directors

  • Commercial Directors

  • HR Directors

  • Professional advisers to the sector

We look forward to seeing you there.
