Briefing session - Scotland on Mars game
Event Information
About this Event
Are you an organisation or youth worker supporting 15 – 18 year old’s in Scotland? Do you feel passionate about health and how health data is used?
A new virtual game – Scotland On Mars – has been launched. It invites young people to take on the role of Health Minister for a new colony on Mars. Through a series of interactive activities, young people will be asked to set up a new health service (the MHS) for Scotland’s citizens. The game takes about 20mins, with paired or group discussion with young people afterwards.
The game format aims to find out the views of young people in an interesting way. The anonymous data will be shared with ScotGov and Nesta UK and has the potential to help inform policy and practice nationally.
All participating organisations will be entered into a £1,000 prize draw plus a further £500 in small vouchers for the winning organisation to distribute amongst their young people.
If you’d like to find out more about how to get involved, please come along to a short virtual briefing session that’ll talk through the logistics and answer key questions on Wednesday 2nd December
If you have questions in the meantime, or are unable to join the session but would like to find out more please contact us at: ScotlandOnMars@Dartington.org.uk.
It will be delivered using Zoom and we will send registered participants the link the day before the event.
