Join Bright Green for the fourth in a series of fortnightly debates, covering the biggest issues of the day.
About this Event
Once a fortnight, Bright Green is bringing together leading figures on the left to discuss and debates the biggest issues of the day. These fortnightly debates will feature panelists from across progressive political parties, trade unions, the media, social movements and the arts.
The next of these debates is on March 30, with an incredible panel. Joining us for this edition are:
- Olivia Blake MP – Labour MP for Sheffield Hallam
- Rosie Rawle – Co-chair, Young Greens
- Billy Hayes – Former general secretary, Communication Workers Union
- Deborah Hermanns – Momentum National Coordinating Group
- Sarah Walpole – Keep Our NHS Public
- Chris Thorpe-Tracey – Musician and writer
This event will be taking place from 7:30pm-9:00pm on Tuesday March 30.
Following questions submitted by attendees, our panel will be discussing:
- How do we save the arts sector post-Covid?
- Will the resistance to the Police Bill be enough to stop it?
- How do we avoid a third wave of Covid?
- Does the left have a future in the Labour Party?
