Join Bright Green for the sixth in a series of fortnightly debates, covering the biggest issues of the day.
About this event
Once a fortnight, Bright Green is bringing together leading figures on the left to discuss and debates the biggest issues of the day. These fortnightly debates will feature panelists from across progressive political parties, trade unions, the media, social movements and the arts.
The next of these debates is on April 27, with an incredible panel. Joining us for this edition are:
- Rachael Maskell - Labour MP
- Cleo Lake - Green Party councillor
- Asad Rehman - Executive Director, War on Want
This event will be taking place from 7:30pm-9:00pm on Tuesday April 27.
Our panel will be discussing:
- How do we ensure the Tories aren't allowed to get away with the sleaze scandal unscathed?
- What impact will the conviction of Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd have on the Black Lives Matter movement?
- Should Keir Starmer resign if Labour loses seats in the local elections?
- How should the UK be supporting the fight against increased Covid transmissions in India?
