Bright 'n' Crafty (SEN )Club

This is a dedicated crafting session run by Karen ,Sara and Rosie from Smart Bright Training, all fully DBS checked,first aid certified and qualified and experienced with working with and supporting young peopple with SEND.

This is a drop-off session for those aged 11 to 16. with autism /SEN with social communication difficulties, regardless of diagnosis.

We meet in a safe, encouraging and supportive environment. Promoting communication, interaction, independence, creativity and friendships!

The Young People were requesting a dedicated session just for arts and crafts... so here it is!

Smart Bright Crafty Club 3pm-4.30pm

There is a small cost to this session of £2.50 per person to go towards materials. This is payable on arrival to the session.

This will be held once a month on the same day as the popular Smart Bright Young Things Youth Group at Autism Inclusive, Crewe....

What will we do?

Arts, crafts, drawing.....we might do felt work, clay, modelling with a range of materials, hard crafts, soft crafts ,painting, upcycling....ideas from the young people will make shape these sessions...

We will also get to know each other and build friendships with no pressures or expectations.

Please let us know if you are unable to attend.

We will email the person that signs up the registration forms for the group . We will also call you for an introduction phone call if your young person has not attended previously. This is to check we are fully informed ahead of the session of anything that will be required to support your child and allow parents/carers an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

It is important that we have information returned to us prior to the session starting , so that we are as informed as possible to the needs of your child.

PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE FOR YOUR SESSION MORE THAN 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE START TIME – THANK YOU - you will be able to wait in the large carpark if arriving early is something that suits your young person.
