Join us for another sunny Community Day at Holland Park, as part of our ongoing conservation campaign, BrightenUp London!
If you haven't already come along to a Community Day, it is a fantastic opportunity to support Taskforce for Nature, a regular volunteer group, with maintaining and improving Holland Park.
You may be a green-fingered genius, or completley new to gardening and wanting to gain some new skills with likeminded others. Either way, our Community Days are chance to get outside and give back, all while learning more about the largest green-space in Kensington and Chelsea.
Tasks are seasonal, and therefore you may also be planting, cleaning invasive species, building dead-hedges, and more!
All of the necessary equipment will be provided and on the day you will be given training on how to use all of the tools safely. Please wear sensible footwear and clothes, with your arms and legs fully covered, and layers for warmth. In the event of light rain, activities will still go ahead.
We encourage you to bring along friends and family, or come by yourself and meet some new people. An exciting opportunity to engage with a strong local community and spend time in nature.
Please note, due to new health and safety restrictions, we are currently unable to accomodate volunteers under the age of 18 at this event.
