About this event

While every child is different, children with additional needs or disabilities are more likely to display distressed behaviour or behaviours that challenge as a way of communicating unmet needs.

This online workshop will help you to:

  • Understand what behaviour is and what drives it
  • Think about how you communicate with your child
  • Understand your child’s sensory needs when we think about behaviour
  • Explore how behaviour is learnt
  • Develop a range of strategies to support your child

There will also be time for questions, discussion, and signposting to further sources of advice and support.
