1. Is there a cost to attend the event?

This is a free event, but places are limited so please do attend if you register.

2. How can I change my registration details?

You can amend or cancel your booking through Eventbrite or email bhapprenticeships@sctp.org.uk. Full details are provided on your ticket confirmation.

3. Can I receive my graduation certificate if I can't attend?

If you are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact bhapprenticeships@sctp.org.uk.

4. How many guests may I bring?

Places are limited to the graduate and up to seven guests (we will increase this if numbers allow) your training provider will be automatically invited, but guests can include your employer, tutor/trainer, friends or family. Please register them as guests on the registration site or ask them to register directly.

5 . Do I qualify to graduate?

All apprentices who complete their apprenticeship from 1 January 2020 to 31 May 2021, and who live or work in Brighton and Hove, are eligible to register.

6. I completed a Traineeship - how will I be involved in the event?

Trainees who completed between 1 January 2020 and 31 May 2021 are warmly invited to attend and will receive a special commendation at the event.

Privacy Notice (Legitimate interest) SCTP is the data controller for purposes of the Data Protection Act (2018) and EU General Data Protection Regulation as of May 2018 and is committed to protecting your personal information. As a data controller we have a responsibility to make sure you know why and how your personal information is being collected in accordance with relevant data protection law.

Why we are processing your data

We are collecting your data for the purpose of administering the Apprenticeship Graduation Ceremony. The information you provide will be used to process your booking. We will also use it to contact you regarding your booking, and where relevant, send graduation certificates/souvenirs. We may also contact you to undertake post-event evaluation.

We have GDPR lawful bases for collection and use of this data under both Task in the Public Interest and Legitimate Interest. The legitimate interest in question is the promotion of the value of apprenticeships to the residents of Brighton and Hove. Your data may be shared with your training provider/college to confirm your registration and completion of your apprenticeship. We will hold your data for 6 months after the event.

Photography/Screen Shots

By proceeding with this booking you are consenting to your images being shared with attendees from this event. We reserve the right to use photos/screenshots for post event publicity.

If you object to having your photograph taken and/or used for the purposes described, please contact bhapprenticeships@sctp.org.uk in advance of the event.
