Your local meetup is a great place to start your journey or continue learning, and meet diverse people to chat about life and how we can sustain it. Every job is a climate job, so come along and learn about how you can take action, as well as what is going on locally.
We welcome everyone, regardless of their experience or background. People Planet Pint is a space where everyone can feel comfortable learning about sustainability and sharing their ideas.
Afterall, creating a sustainable future requires connected communities. And what better way to bring everyone together than over a drink?
Prefer a Pastry to a Pint? Head along to ‘People Planet Pastry’! Equally relaxed and welcoming, they run during the day and offer an informal way to learn about what is going on locally in sustainability.
Your Volunteer Hosts
Sam Zindel is Managing Director of Brighton-based digital marketing agency Propellernet. He led the company’s B Corp certification and is committed to doing everything possible to help restore our climate using business as a force for positive change. A graduate of the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, Sam runs Low Carbon Leaders, co-founded The Million Tree Pledge and works closely with Clean Growth UK and our local authorities on business transition to net zero. I'm focused on creating a positive impact through my work, for the wider community and (as much as possible) the planet. Essentially, leaving the world in a better place than I found it. I look to do this connecting people, ideas and insights via groups like People, Planet, Pint! as well as LinkedIn and Twitter. I’m a keen advocate of positive action through innovation, conscious capitalism and building a more circular economy. Via a range of sources, including fellowship of the RSA and podcasts (I highly recommend John Richardson and the Futurenauts!) to name a couple, I am passionate about educating myself about how I can be a better citizen and ancestor.

Yes! The 'Pint' in 'People, Planet, Pint' really just signifies the informality & casual conversation that is a staple of our meetups. You are more than welcome to order (and indeed the first 33 drinks free cover) all soft drinks, teas/coffees, etc.
Anyone who's interested in sustainability. We attract a diverse bunch,from sustainability professionals,council workers,students,people looking to shift careers, business owners & beyond. There’s no agenda and everyone's welcome, so even if you just want a free drink & to ask a question, come along!
There's no format or requirements on the night. It's all about having conversations and hearing from other people who may not typically come together in the same room. It's an informal setting (usually a pub) where you can pop down and meet like-minded people in your area, over a pint or soft drink.
It's great to see People Planet Pint expanding, although we understand some meetups can be busy which can be overwhelming. Feel free to reach out to your friendly local host/s (LinkedIn's are provided) prior to the meetup as they can welcome you and answer any questions. Please also bring a friend!

Using interactive games and activities, everyone works together to figure out the next best step in their carbon reduction journey.
No slides, no data collection — just hands-on action where everyone gets involved.
It can be run independently by your team, or with expert facilitation from Small99.
