Brighton Diversity Games - Same Sex Dance Championships

The Brighton Diversity Games - Same Sex Dance Championships 2017 will take place at the Mandela Hall, University of Sussex, Brighton on Saturday 8th July 2017.
There will be two sessions:
For the morning session, the doors will open at 10:00 a.m. The Women's Ballroom and Men's Latin competitions will start at 11:00 a.m., and will be followed by a presentation of prizes. The morning session will end at 3:00 p.m.
The afternoon/evening session will start at 4:00 p.m. with the Men's Ballroom and Women's Latin competitions followed by a presentation of prizes. The afternoon/evening session will end at 8 p.m.
Entering the Competition
Select competitor ticket, either non-member or UKSSDC/ESSDA/BLAGSS Member Ticket.
The prices are per person and include entry to the Ballroom category, the Latin category, or both. All competitors may attend the whole day of the competition, even if they are not competing in both categories.

Watching the Competition

Spectators are most welcome at the Brighton Diversity Games Same Sex Dance Championships, and make a valuable contribute to the atmosphere of the event. There will be opportunities for social dancing throughout the day and a guest appearance from the Sugar Dandies, as featured on Britain's Got Talent.
Online ticket sales close on 5th July 17.00 GMT. A small number of tickets may be available on the door on the day.
Getting to the Competition
The Mandela Hall is part of the Student Union Building at the University of Sussex, Falmer, Brighton, BN1 9RH. The University is a short train or bus ride from the city of Brighton or Lewes, East Sussex.
Falmer station is a few minutes walk from Mandela Hall and there are frequent trains from Brighton or Lewes train stations. The 25 bus, offers a frequent service between the centre of Brighton and the University and the 28 or 29 bus offers a frequent service to the university from Brighton or Lewes. There is free car parking on campus on Saturdays and after 5pm Monday - Friday.
The nearest airport is London Gatwick with frequent train connections to Brighton.
