Dear Gong Friends,
I am facilitating one last Gong Bath session for the year at Purple Turtle Wellbeing. As the year 2016 comes to an end, and the winter solstice, Christmas and the New Year approaches, this is a time to rejoice, reflect, and be re-born.
For this Gong session, to embody this cycle, I invite you to welcome the energetic quality of transformation. We are going to work with intention, breath and meditation before being immersed in the sounds of the Gongs, Singing Bowls and Shamanic Instruments.
Sessions start 19:30. Please arrive at 19:15/19:20 for registration and a cup of herbal tea. Also avoid alcohol and eating heavy meals before the session. Late comers are not admitted to avoid disrupting the session. Thank you for understanding.
The session includes:
-A guided meditation where we will be focusing on the breath, intention and creative visualisation.
-A sound immersion with the sacred sound of the Gong and related therapeutic instruments (singing bowls, chimes, bells, a rain stick, a frame drum, a Koshi, a croaking frog güiro, shakers and leaf rattles).
-Shunyata Period (period of silence for integration purposes).
-closing ritual with the sacred sound Om (you are welcome to listen or join in).
-a cup of tea.

WHAT IS A GONG BATH:
A Gong Bath is a form of Sound Therapy where the Gong and other related instruments are played to bring out relaxation and general well being.
The term 'Gong Bath' means that you are bathed in sound waves. There is no touching or water involved. You don’t have to remove any clothing, just wear loose confortable clothes. All you have to do is lay down on the yoga mat provided, wrap yourself in a blanket, close your eyes and relax to the sounds of the instruments
WHAT TO BRING: Each guest is provided with a yoga mat, a head rest, and an eye pillow but, if possible, please bring:
-a cushion/pillow (or cushions/pillows) for extra comfort. You will be laying down for one hour on a yoga mat and the more 'padding' you have underneath you, the more comfortable you will be. And, the more comfortable you are the more beneficial the session will be for you.
-a blanket to keep warm because the body temperature may shift during the session. Please contact me if you would like me to bring a blanket for you.
-a bottle of water (although there is access to water). You may get thirsty.
WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear loose and comfortable clothing. Changing area available.
