Hello and welcome. The idea for a Silent Book Club came from San Francisco in 2012 where a group of friends decided they wanted to prioritise a space in their week to read with people who share their passion for a good book without the pressure of having to read whatever had been assigned and think up smart comments to share. In a Silent Book Club you simply bring with you whatever you are currently reading and we read in silence together. At the end of each meeting there is time to talk and share anything you wish about what you're reading but it is completely optional.
