Projecting Future Cities
Give Me Back My Broken Night by Uninvited Guests and Circumstance combines theatre, technology and a cinematic soundtrack. Participants play the role of urban planners, collaborating on their own sci-fi designs and speculative architectures. As part of the Brigstow launch you will be taken on a 40 minute guided tour, not of the historic past, but of a future University of Bristol. Collectively you are invited to reimagine university buildings, which will appear before your eyes.
Presented by Dr Paul Clarke (Theatre), Jessica Hoffmann, Duncan Speakman and Sam Steer.
Produced by Fuel.
The route does involve some steps but the 16:00 tour will be via an accessible route. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions regarding accessibility.
See https://brigstowlaunch.eventbrite.co.uk to register for Brigstow's official launch. Also feel free to drop in to the Wills Memorial Building at any time between 2.00 pm and 5.30 pm for a showcase of our initial raft of research projects; from interactive playable bottles to postcards lost in the mail for a century.
