Race Ahead Training is pleased to offer the "Brilliant Babies Development Program," designed for professionals working with children under 2 years old. This comprehensive training aims to enhance participants' understanding and application of best practices in early education, focusing on the crucial early years of development


Training Objectives:

1. Best Practices with Children Under 2: Develop an understanding of best practice methodologies when working with babies and toddlers, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment.

2. Embedding Prime Areas: Ensure the three prime areas (Personal, Social and Emotional Development; Physical Development; and Communication and Language) are integrated into daily practice.

3. Identifying Learning Schemas: Understand and identify the various schemas of learning to better support and recognise patterns in children's play and behaviour.

4. Importance of Stories and Rhymes: Appreciate the significance of stories and rhymes and their impact on language development, cognitive skills, and emotional growth.

5. Benefits of Sensory Play: Understand the importance and benefits of sensory play in the holistic development of babies, enhancing their sensory experiences and learning opportunities.

6. Babies' Brain Development: Gain insights into the rapid brain development occurring in the first two years of life and how early experiences shape cognitive and emotional growth.

7. Importance of Attachments: Understand the critical role of secure attachments in a baby's emotional and social development, and strategies to foster strong, positive relationships.

8. Characteristics of Effective Learning for Babies: Identify and support the characteristics of effective learning in babies, including playing and exploring, active learning, and creating and thinking critically.

9. Communication and Language Development: Explore methods to enhance babies' communication and language skills through interactive and responsive practices.

10. Importance of Outdoor Environments: Recognise the benefits of outdoor play and nature exploration in supporting babies' physical, cognitive, and emotional development, and how to create safe and stimulating outdoor environments.
