About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Join us on an exploration looking for some of Spurn Point's smallest creatures. Using specialist bug-safe capturing equipment our team will help you search under rocks, bushes and in grasses.

Embrace your wild side - what to expect:

Our bug hunts take place in areas of uneven ground and will involve moving rocks, twigs and/or grasses.

What to bring/wear

This event takes place outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! We'd recommend sturdy and waterproof footwear or wellies, and lots of layers! If it's a hot day, remember a hat and suncream!

Toilets and catering

There are toilets (including an accessible toilet) and a café at the Spurn Discovery Centre, serving both hot and cold food.
