Come and enjoy a day of stitching, in beautiful surroundings, create a fun heat pad from wool and silver threads.

About this event

Learn how to work with metal threads, using Japanese thread, pearl purl, chipping and kid. The kit includes everything you need to make up a cosy heat pad ready for chilly Autumn evenings.

***One ticket includes parent and child (one heat pad, share the work!). For an additional child or even an extra heat pad for yourself please see add-ons***

The workshop lasts from 10am to 4pm, we will be learning to create this lovely Silverwork Ram heat pad with your child. Children 10+ are encouraged to come along and help create your winter warmer!

All levels of stitchers are welcome from beginners to experts - we would encourage children 10 and above to come along and try out this technique.

Included:

Everything required to create your heat pad provided in your included kit. Coffee or tea and delicious cakes from Atkinson's fabulous cafe just across the courtyard is included.
