The S+K Project

Since 2014, The S+K Project has created work with and for the likes of the Royal Court, Battersea Arts Centre and LIFT, engaging thousands of people from backgrounds typically seen as underrepresented in British theatre. They are committed to being the bridge between emerging artists in their community and the professional creative sector, creating work that equips them with practical and artistic skills to pursue careers in the arts.

Since launching they have gone on to write, direct and produce almost a dozen productions, with a focus on pushing the boundaries of the form of theatre as well as producing meaningful participatory projects. Outside of their theatre and artist development work, S+K produces talks, networking and performance events, as well as an annual festival which aims to bring together marginalised voices in society, allowing them to express themselves through the vehicle of the arts.

With a combined reach of over 7,500 people with all of our work through live events, and hundreds of thousands digitally, individuals we have developed have gone on to work with the likes of Tamasha Theatre Company, Frantic Assembly, Contact Theatre, the Royal Court and the National Theatre.

Find out more about us by visiting their website, following them on their socials and signing up to their newsletter. With your support, they can continue to be the link for ambitious people of all backgrounds to develop their interest in the arts and related areas by delivering affordable, interdisciplinary, multifaceted work in professional environments.

Together, we can make the arts for everyone.
