On every school doorstep lies a rich resource for learning. Local streets and buildings hold exciting opportunities to enrich the curriculum

The third in our webinar series: Enhancing The Curriculum Using Heritage, Place and the Built Environment.

This webinar will explore:

· An explanation of what is meant by the built environment

· An exploration of the learning opportunities provided by the local built environment.

· Background information on a range of commonly found built features

· Examples of using the built environment throughout all key stages, in history and other areas of the curriculum

· Getting started – planning and teaching ideas.
