Event description

Description

Flood Modeller are holding a free-to-attend evening workshop on Thursday 8th February at the University of the West of England in Bristol.

The workshop will allow those involved in flood risk management, in the Bristol area, to learn and share modelling and hydrological best practice, with reference to the application of Flood Modeller to projects. The event will include presentations from various users, including Arcadis, CH2M and Edenvale Young, who will discuss local case studies. Additionally, a Q&A session will provide the opportunity for attendees to ask questions within an informal setting.

It is also an excellent opportunity to find out about the latest updates to Flood Modeller and meet others within the local flood modelling community.

Following the success of the recent Leeds workshop, Chris Allman, British Hydrological Society committee member commented: “this event provided a great opportunity to share best practice within flood risk modelling and hydrology, and for all practitioners working in flood risk management to share experiences and to collaborate”.

Sandwiches and light refreshments will be provided.
