For the Teachers of French International Day, the Institut français in the UK is organizing a conference to celebrate teachers of French all throughout the UK. This conference will help join language and culture in classroom activities in primary and secondary schools.

Catherine Cheater, Teacher and Consultant, formerly Senior Language Teaching Adviser at CILT, Helen Myers, Chair of the London Branch of the Association for Language Learning, teacher of French at The Ashcombe School, Bunmi Richards, Headteacher, and Philip Yorke, Bilingual Curriculum Leader at Shaftesbury Park Primary School (French bilingual stream) will offer teachers very practical tips, tools and ideas to join French language and culture in the classroom.

The conference will be moderated by Nadine Chadier, Lead teacher for French at St Jérôme Church of England Bilingual School.

This conference will be held in English at the Institut français du Royaume-Uni in London and will be followed by a cocktail offered ; the conference will also be available online for the teachers of French who might not be able to come to London.

At the end of the conference, the winners of the International Day of Teachers of French - 2021 Competition will be announced.
