Event description

The Celluloid Sail tour is coming to Bristol!

This summer Compass Presents will bring a unique archive film and circus experience to Lloyds Ampitheatre, Hannover Quay.

Don’t miss this one-night-only screening of Wes Anderson’s cult classic 'The Life Aquatic' as the tall ship Kaskelot transforms into an expanded cinema, with performance and aerial circus high in the ship’s rigging, and projected archive footage of Britain's coastal past.

Settle down on the water’s edge to discover some of your harbour’s stories, characters and history, and prepare for one of the nation’s best-loved films, screened in a spectacle you will remember forever...

Fancy dress highly encouraged!
