Colour me happy. Discover how Bristol’s colourful houses are transforming the city. Join Stride Treglown for a series of short talks and debates with a range of speakers including architects, photographers and the creators of Bristol Colour Capital. Learn how the phenomenon started and what is next for Bristol and colour. Please note this is an early morning session, tea and coffee are available.

Join the creators of Bristol Colour Capital, local architects Stride Treglown and Bristol colour photographer Jess Siggers, at this unique seminar that celebrates the city’s colourful houses and the effects they have on people and place. With a number of guest speakers, the event will explore:

  • How the phenomenon started
  • Why Bristol seems to be embracing colour
  • The effect it is having on the city's urban landscape
  • The effect it is having on the city's property market
  • The psychology of colour

Attendees should arrive at the Paintworks from 8:30am ready for talks to begin at 9:00am. A light breakfast will be provided.
