Bristol Water's Chew Valley Lake Nature trail Bioblitz

Description
Bristol Water will be hosting a lovely, Sunday afternoon Bioblitz over their two nature trails 'the Grebe trail and 'the Bittern trail' at Chew Valley Lake. Supporting the Bristol Natural History Consortium's Bristol and Bath region City Nature Challenge 2018. This event will be focused on using different survey techniques to find and record as many different species as possible using the iNaturalist app. There will be team leaders present to help with the surveying and identification of plant, invertebrate, freshwater, fungi and bird species. Booking essential as spaces are limited on this exciting citizen science event. Limited transport is available from Bristol Water's head office on Bridgwater road to the event, but car sharing is recommended. There are toilets and a car park on site and free car parking is available for all volunteers during the event. Bristol Water will be providing refreshments for the event.
