About this event

This event is suitable for dietitians, student dietitians or any other professionals who have an interest in autism. This meeting will have a predominately paediatric focus.

Topics/Speakers will include:

• A parent’s perspective on selective eating,

• Practical Behavioural Management - Karen Bergmann, Specialist Neurodisabilities Nurse

• Feeding Difficulties and ASD and running parent workshops - Ailish Harrison, Speech and Language Therapist, Complex and Additional Needs Feeding Team/ Neonatal Feeding Team, Ailish is also a member of the NICE ARFID working group

  • Practical experience of feeding in schools - Jacquie Nieto, SEN Teacher, Wooley Wood School
  • Recent experience of SOS training - Sarah Roberts, Specialist Dietitian
