Food redistribution charity, The Felix Project have been working in the primary production sector since 2020. Over the past two years, we’ve mobilised over 2,200 volunteers to glean nearly 200 tonnes of would-have-been-wasted plums, apples and pears, to then redistribute this fresh and nutritious fruit out to those in need. In partnership with their UK-wide partner, Fareshare, they are now looking to do more – this lunch is a fabulous opportunity to learn more about our work, hear from the farmers we work with and how little it would take from you to ensure any surplus on your farm goes to combat hunger in the UK.

We estimate, an astounding 120,000 tonnes of edible produce, enough for 300 million meals, goes unharvested on British farms annually. Not because it isn’t good food, but often because of market constraints, labour shortages, or logistical challenges. Not only are we looking to find better ways to use this surplus, but we're also fighting for better ways you are compensated for any food you offer into food redistribution.

Join us at Bishop Partridge Hall, Church House, London for an afternoon of insightful talks, peer learning and tasty grub made with rescued food.

The Felix Project is the UK’s largest food redistribution charity. Started in 2016, its vision is a world where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. It works with hundreds of suppliers from across the food industry, including supermarkets, wholesalers, farms and restaurants to rescue high quality surplus food, that cannot be sold and would otherwise go to waste.
