Date: 23 October 2017, 4.pm – 6.00pm. Venue: Leith Community Education Centre, 12A Newkirkgate, Edinburgh EH6 6AD.

The event is hosted in collaboration with Scottish Government Honours Team and it's main aim is to encourage more nominations from black and minority ethnic communities and explain how the system works. The event will also address following aspects -

  • Raise awareness about UK honours system among the BME communities

Honours recognise people of outstanding merit, and those who have committed themselves to exceptional service; whether they have been paid or unpaid for their services.

Please come to the event and meet BME honours recipients, speak to the Scottish Government honours team for more information.
