It’s history can be traced back to pre-historic times, Bronze and Iron Age relics abound the area, and evidence exists of Roman and extensive Celtic occupation, the deer herd probably introduced by the Romans. Today the park offers a stunning setting for the event. For the non-racers there is plenty to do. The magnificent Margam Castle, Orangery with ornamental gardens and Deer Park. plus a narrow gauge railway, adventure playgrounds, Go Ape (high wire adventure), Fairytale Land (children’s area with a nursery rhyme theme) and rare breeds farm trail.
