British science week: Ask questions

This year, the theme for British Science Week is “Curiosity: what’s your question?”, celebrating the role of questioning in scientific discovery and offering practical ideas to bring the theme to life in your classroom.

Children are naturally curious, always observing, wondering and asking why? and how? In science, that curiosity is the spark that leads to meaningful enquiry and deep understanding.

Join us for this free webinar designed to help you nurture and develop pupils’ scientific questioning skills from Year 1 through to Year 6.

We’ll explore how to:

• ignite and sustain children’s curiosity about the world around them
• support pupils in asking scientifically rich questions and planning simple investigations
