#Event1 Timetable: #Event1 will be open to schools between 10:30am – 4:30pm to enter. One Hour sessions include Training and Individual Race. When your athletes have completed their session, you may leave. Results will follow the event. Session Time Allocation will be confirmed on Monday 20th March via email.
Individual Competition Format – (same for all age categories).

Heats: Each athlete will attain a race time.
Inter Schools TEAM
*Teams of 3 athletes of mixed gender, in the same age category. (YOUTH & JUNIOR) The fastest 3 athletes (from their individual Race) in the same age category from each school in each will make a team.
NB: If a school enters sufficient athletes to make subsequent teams, Team A, B, C… will be accommodated.
Results: Following #Event1 results will be distributed and made available online. Awards to be posted.
Age Categories: (Ages as of 31st Dec 2017) The appropriate catagories will be selected according to your date of birth.
• YOUTH Girls and YOUTH Boys (15 and Under – Minimum 11yrs)
• JUNIOR Girls and JUNIOR Boys (16 – 20yrs)
• SENIOR Women and SENIOR Men (21yrs +) Teachers and Support Staff.
• TEAM – YOUTH Mixed gender (Team of 3) Automatic entry
• TEAM – JUNIOR Mixed gender (Team of 3) Automatic entry
Equipment: All equipment will be provided by the organiser only.
Targets: 49.5mm diametre targets will be used for this National Series Qualifying Event.
Training: Coaching wil be avaliable on the day
Experience: No experience needed.
Qualification: This event is part of the British Shooting Target Sprint National Series 2017. The 5 fastest avaliable Youth Girls, Youth Boys, Junior Girls and Junior Boys will qualify for the National Final, to be held Final to be held on Saturday 9th September at YOSC (Yate Outdoor Sports Complex).
Team Qualification: The organising committee of the National Final will update in June 2017 if there is timetabling capacity for an Open National Team Relay. This will be via www.targetsprint.co.uk

When is the National Final?
Saturday 9th September at YOSC (Yate Outdoor Sports Complex).
What is the minimum age?
Will I be contacted before the event?
Yes, the event organiser will contact you at least 7 days before the event and/or following the event closing date.
If I qualify for the National Final, do I have to compete at it?
No, but please notify the organiser at Events@BritishShooting.org.uk as soon as possible.
Do I need to bring anything to the event?
No. All equipment will be provided. After entering you will be added to the list of entrants, so no need to bring your event confirmation. Just wear suitable clothing and footwear for a running and shooting event.
What is your refund policy?
No refunds will be avaliable.
Do I have to have experience of shooting?
No. Limited coaching will be avaliable as part of the day.
