British Sporter League Open Championships - Saturday 23rd July 2022

Ages 8, 9 and 10 – 20 shot match with unlimited sighters in 30 minutes. This is shot at 6 yards.

Ages 11 and 12 - 30 shot match to include unlimited sighters in a total of 40 minutes. This is shot at 10m.

Ages 13 and Over – 30 shot match standing match to include unlimited sighters in a total of 40 minutes. (You can shoot this if you are under 13 if you are able to shoot standing up) This is shot at 10m. The top 8 shooters will go through to the final.

The competition is shot to NSRA Rules for Sporter competitions.

Shooters must use Sporter-compliant 6ft lb air rifles. With the exception of a shooting glove and stand, no specialist clothing, footwear or equipment may be used.

The entry fee includes the use of Target Shooting School's air rifles if needed. Loan rifles are allocated on a 'First Come' basis.

Entry fee £16.00 per entry, multiple entries are permitted.

The limited parking at the range is reserved for shooters with disabilities and competition officials. All other competitors should park at the Leatherhead Leisure Centre, Guildford Road, Leatherhead KT22 9BL. The range is a 5 minute walk from the Centre.

Terms and conditions:

It is a requirement of entry to the competition that the parent or guardian completing the application form confirms that the entrant has never had a firearm or shotgun application refused or such a certificate revoked; and that the entrant is not a person prohibited by virtue of Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968 from having an airgun or firearm in his/her possession.

Prizes:

British Sporter League Champion – The David Sprigg Trophy for the winner of the final and medals for 2nd and 3rd place

Aged 10 and Under – Highest Score medals for 1st 2nd and 3rd place

Medal for the highest scoring 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15+ years old

Details at Ages 8,9 and 10 - 10.00, 10.30, 11.00, 11.30, 12.00 and 12.30

Ages 11 and Over - 10.00, 10:40, 11.20 and 12.00.

This will be followed by the Final for the top 8 standing shooters.
