About Death Cafe

At a Death Café people gather to drink tea, eat cake and discuss death. The aim is to increase awareness of death with the aim of helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.

The Death Cafe model was developed by Jon Underwood and Sue Barsky Reid, based on the ideas of Bernard Crettaz. To read more visit - http://deathcafe.com/

About this Death Cafe

This is the rebirth of Brixton Death Cafe.

We had to stop holding it last year because we couldn't find a suitable venue.

Fortunately, we found a person who is enthusiastic about using his vegetarian cafe as our new 'home'.

The plan is to have people sit in groups at small tables for the first part of the evening and then as one large group towards the end.

This venue is suitable for wheelchair users.

We look forward to seeing you there!
