On the corner at one of London's busiest junctions sits The Brixton Orchard. This little green oasis breathes fresh air into the space reducing air pollution, increasing biodiversity, and is a haven for urban wildlife.
This rare green space in the heart of Brixton is kept alive by an army of volunteers!
Connect, Learn, and Grow by becoming a volunteer with us.
- Get your hands dirty by planting for pollinators, mulching paths, and weeding
- Learn how to care for fruit trees (and eat their yummy fruit!)
- Grow traditional hedgerow plants
- Meet new like-minded people
- Be part of a green community
Take a proper lunch break and join us on fortnightly Thursdays between 1pm - 3pm.
Stay for as little or long as you can. All welcome!
Please note: These tickets are available for individuals only. Please contact us at admin@urbangrowth.london for corporate volunteering requests and bookings.
