About this event

‘Broadening Access to Dance for Children’ – Online Intensive Course

This is a unique opportunity for 40 teachers, who are interested in learning more about working beyond the studio, to take part in an intensive 20-hour programme . This course has been subsidized by funds from the Cultural Recovery Fund to support our Charitable mission to widen participation and give children access to dance.

The course has been structured to equip you with the knowledge and skills required to start a new project, to reach out beyond your current classes. Previous project experience is not necessary.

You will learn how to engage with new audiences, what ‘tools’ you will need and how to plan and structure a project that is inclusive and engaging.

You will also explore funding opportunities and be able to consider applying for an ISTD bursary to make your project happen.

There will be several guest specialists lecturing on this course to ensure that you receive the guidance to support and enhance your learning.

If you are excited by the opportunity to develop your current business and start something new, then you are the person to apply.
