A choice of five days from 23rd to 27th of February: If you don't have time for long-term volunteering, Volunteer Action Days are the perfect way to get a taste of what’s involved in carrying out practical conservation in the Broads National Park. February's activities include taking a boat through the winding dykes of the River Ant to manage the vegetation on Reedham Marshes, at How Hill, so that it becomes a great habitat for wildlife, such as insects and birds. You don't need any prior experience, you can just come along and do your bit for the environment. All training, safety information and suitable protective footwear and gloves will be provided but you'll need to bring waterproofs, warm clothing, and food and drink for the day. We'll also provide a lifejacket for the boat trip. Spaces are limited so book today to secure a place.
