Join our Guided Walk Leaders for a fascinating insight into the flora of the reserve and how it changes over the year.

Join our Guided Walk Leaders for a fascinating insight into the flora of Brockholes and how it changes over the year.

We will also cover the folklore associated with our wildflowers, trees and fungi.

We will be repeating the walk at regular intervals through out the year, so you can spot the changes as part of natures calendar.


Confirmed dates for 2026 are

  • Friday 27 February
  • Wednesday 25 March
  • Friday 24 April


The walk is at a gentle pace, with lots of stopping to look species.

Pre booking is required. Please note that booking closes at 4.00pm the day before the event.

Come dressed for the weather conditions wearing sturdy footwear.

Children are welcome but must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Normal parking charges apply.
