Welcome to one of the first meetups for community group Bród Manchain, with an LGBTQ+ Irish Language Workshop! Join us at Mother Mary's Irish Bar on Thursday 21st August from 7pm, ahead of Manchester Pride for a part education, part discussion event on how the Irish language is and can be used in the context of LGBTQ+ life & identity. From reaquainting yourself or learning the basics for the first time, to how the ever-evolving world of LGBTQ+ language has been and can be adopted into the Irish language, as well as questions around activisim and organising, Tom Togher of Manchester Irish Language Group, alongside Irish Community Care Manchester, will facilitate the workshop.Whether you're a beginner or full Gaeilgeoir, all levels are welcome to immerse themselves in the beauty of the Irish language. Come learn, laugh, and make new friends in a supportive and inclusive environment. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with the LGBTQ+ community through the richness of Irish language.
