Event description
This retreat is an opportunity for women to take a weekend out, intentionally tune out the world, renew your spirit, soul and mind.

About this Event

God is raising an army of Warrior Princesses in this generation. Women whose hearts seek desperately after God, who want to do more than simply read their Bibles and pray. Women who recognise God's call on their lives and actively work towards fulfilling that call by the power of the Holy Spirit, in spite of their own brokenness.

This retreat is a great opportunity to step away from the noise and join other women to renew your faith walk. It's a safe space to connect with women whose hearts are desperate for God and will see His kingdom come here on earth. It promises to be an amazing time in His presence; bring your Bibles and journals for a life changing experience through Worship, the Word and Prayer.

Ticket price (£160) includes all meals, ensuite double bedroom for 2 nights and the entire retreat experience! Additional £13.07 is eventbrite booking fee - to avoid the fee, pay directly via bank transfer or paypal.

Email info@connectingstories.co.uk for more info.

A detailed retreat agenda will be shared once we receive your registration details.

The Retreat Facilitators:

Ify Bamigboye: Host and Founder, Connecting Stories.

Chima Ochei: Growing up with a big appetite for books, but never seeing girls like herself in the story, Chima studied literature at Cambridge University and became an author, editor and publisher. She has published books in multiple languages and recorded for Premier Radio. A school governor and classic teacher's daughter, Chima is passionate about education and has worked for leading firms Pearson and Penguin Random House. She's also a wife and senior editor for a government body focused on wellbeing: she loves seeing people thrive. Chima is particularly intrigued by this question: what does it mean to be a woman made in the image of God?

Arinola Nnatuanya is a singer songwriter and a worship leader at Jesus House in London. She has released two albums and a single “The Secret Place”, “It’s all working out” and “Rugged Cross”. These songs were written at various stages of her walk with God. Apart from her love of music, Arinola has a passion for teaching the worship lifestyle and 2015, she launched the 360° worshipper in the UK. A series of seminars that equip and inspires a worship lifestyle.

Amy Engleman is a Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Mindfulness practitioner. She is passionate about how therapy can bring healing and a deeper understanding to our inner world. "The process of therapy is like no other relationship, it can place a mirror within a truly authentic and trusting environment, allowing us to use our brokenness to find healing and wisdom."

Susan Emina is many things to many people...she is RubySuze - the YouTuber and visual storyteller. She is a Project Management professional, former Teacher and not forgetting a wife and a mother. She is highly creative, struggles to sit still and can bake a mean chocolate cake. BUT above all, Susan is passionate about sharing stories. She shares her stories, with vulnerability and authenticity about the highs and lows of her everyday life to the struggles she faced on her fertility journey and the battle for her mental health. Susan shares because she knows just how lonely it can be when you’re walking a journey alone.
