Broken Pieces: a play by A.C. Smith
‘The past never really goes away. It just gets buried a little deeper ’
Archeologist Barbara’s world has been turned upside down by the disappearance of her husband Harold: her partner in both her life and work.
Broken Pieces chronicles Barbara’s bittersweet process of remembering – tracing backwards through time to uncover, reclaim and honour both Barbara’s own experiences and the great love of her life.
Broken Pieces was commissioned originally for the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA), Elders Theatre company in 2014. This will be the play’s North East premiere and is supported by the Northumberland Cultural Fund.
Performances also at Haltwhistle Library Tuesday December 3rd 2.30pm and Hexham Library on Wednesday 4th at 7.30 (Booking for Hexham performance through Queens Hall Arts Box Office)
