2022 Haunting Nights are taking you on a Night of EXTREME Ghost Hunting with an option to sleepover once the ghost hunt has finished at 3:00am (or carry on ghost hunting, you decide!)

Bron Y Garth Hospital, Workhouse and Prison Ghost Hunt with Haunting Nights will take you back in time to these abandoned and decaying former Victorian buildings

Within the walls of the prison you can feel the torment and misery which resonates from the bleak and torturous cells Punishment and hard labour has certainly left its mark on this daunting location as the poor souls were left in isolation to break boulders into rocks in exchange for food, where only the strongest survived.

The Victorian Workhouse was a place of refuge for the poor and the conditions were questionable to say the least Opened in the 1800s as the Ffestiniog Union Workhouse, the most destitute men, women, and children were offered refuge here. With many suffering from physical and mental illnesses were forced to work day after day in harsh conditions for basic food and a somewhere to sleep Up to 150 inmates housed here in cramped, harsh and humiliating conditions that resulted in numerous untimely deaths

Following a commission set up by the British Medical Journal to improve inmates’ conditions in the country’s workhouses, Ffestiniog was deemed unfit and improved and expanded in 1897.

Fifty years later it was taken over by the NHS until its closure in 2009. In 2021 it remains untouched Empty hospital beds and wheelchairs have been left abandoned in the decaying wards scratched messages are evident left by former inmates with the mortuary and chapel of rest being away from the main building having a very isolated and what can beset be described as a lonely feeling

During this night of EXTREME Ghost Hunting you will be investigating with the Haunting Nights Team where we will have access to the workhouse/hospital, hospital mortuary building and the Victorian prison wing as well as the secluded garden and woodland where it is rumoured several of the tortured souls remain today, maybe during your ghost hunt with Haunting Nights you will discover where?

Sleepover is optional at no additional cost

If you wish to sleepover you will need something to lie on, sleeping bag pillow etc

Everyone who books this event will be entered into a draw to take up the challenge Four lucky winners will have EXCLUSIVE access to the hospital for one hour from 7:30pm with no other guests or team with you, during this hour you will be set a series of terrifying challenges whilst filming yourselves carrying out the challenges LIVE on our social media pages You will be taken in to the darkest and most harrowing area of the abandoned hospital by the team and your challenges will be set, the filming will start as the team leave you with just your phone and a torch!
