Bronze Open Qualifying Expedition : Saturday 6th March and Sunday 7th March 2021

We offer an open Bronze package which allows you to complete your Qualifying Expedition for the Bronze award. This is ideal if you don’t have a group to do your expedition with or can’t make your schools dates. We offer training based in Basildon, Essex, followed by a 2 day expedition.

Qualifying Expedition:- This is designed for young people that have already completed a Bronze expedition training framework. You must attend Tuesday 2nd March-6pm-7pm or 7.15pm till 8.15pm for Route planning and equipment collection which is compulsory.Dates:- You are paying for:-Tuesday 2nd March- Qualifying Expedition Route planning/ Equipment 6pm to- 7pm or 7.15pm till-8.15pm

Expedition in Epping: 6th-7th March 2021

Saturday 6th March -12 start and collect at 7pm

Sunday 7th March- 9am drop off and 3pm Collection

Due to Covid- 19 There will be no overnight camping.

Parents MUST PICK UP AND COLLECT EACH DAY

Free use of group equipment. Trangia stoves, maps, compass and fuel.

Comprehensive training covering all aspects of the DofE syllabus.

Transport: Parents must drop off and collect from Epping each day

After booking on and paying for your expedition you MUST send us a consent form 6 weeks before the event. We can not take young people without a consent form. Please email it over to info@mudandmaps.co.uk. Failure to attend the Route planning session will result in you not being able to attend the expedition.
