Brook Open Meadows May
Event Information
About this event
Come and enjoy the bluebells and many other spring flowers at Brook, a County Wildlife Site with a semi-ancient natural woodland, hay meadows and an established species-rich wet meadow.
We will mark out a self-guided trail of about 1 kilometre, and there is an easy walk of 500 metres for those who have difficulty with steep ground. Explore at your leisure and you are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy the tranquility of this special place.
Please note - As there is limited parking, you will need to book a ticket to bring a car. You can bring up to 5 people per vehicle. Arrive at any time during your booked morning or afternoon time slot - it will take about 2 hours of leisurely strolling to look around, to stop and look at the flowers, the butterflies and the views.
