What is fear? When did you last think about what you’re afraid of? What impact does that fear have on you? As a coach, how might your fears affect your clients? And in turn, how might your client’s own personal anxieties be holding them back? Find out in this thought-provoking Brown Bag Lunch, in which Hilary Gallo will share his unique, fresh perspective on how our own experiences of fear can deeply affect who we are. Fear is also intrinsically linked with power: this workshop will help you explore the links.

Hack into the true meaning of fear by looking at it from another angle. Hilary will explain how instead of being afraid of our fears and fighting them, we can reframe them and befriend them. By bringing them close, in an atmosphere of safety and trust, we can learn surprising things from our fears. Using his breakthrough new framework, Hilary shows us how to harness the power of fear.

Hilary Gallo has been running Fear Hack workshops since 2016. His interest arose from writing his first book, The Power of Soft, when he realised that fear caused the majority of negotiation problems. He then noticed fear coming up in his coaching work with creative leaders. Fear is also an important part of Hilary's own career journey in that he left a well-paid job to work for himself in 2013 (having done it once before, in 1990). He has also nearly died five times, not counting the time he managed to sink a yacht during a race! Hilary is currently working on a new book, Fear Hack (publishing in 2019). His background is as a Commercial Director, Partner and VP at Accenture and Capgemini and he was once a lawyer at Clifford Chance (the first job he left).

If you’re ready to hack in to the potential of fear, book your place now!
