What are the key elements of negotiation you need to master to earn a fair fee for your work as a coach? What are the common traps coaches fall into and how can you avoid them? This lunchtime event is gold dust if you feel you sometimes undervalue your work or sense you’ve been outmanoeuvred by a more skilled negotiator. Expert negotiator Ori Wiener will raise your awareness of established best practices and show you what good looks like. He will explore how to identify your value, show you how to fight off your inner saboteurs and pinpoint why coaches should be pre-destined to become particularly skilled negotiators. Discover the Golden Triangle of getting, setting and keeping your optimal fee rates so you never again need to feel you’re under-charging.
Ori Wiener runs the Business Development Practice of the Møller PSF Group, Cambridge, providing strategic business development support for professional service firms (PSFs). He also provides support and training around fee negotiations and has an executive coaching practice. Before co-founding Møller PSF Group, Ori gained over 25 years of experience as an investment banker (UBS, S.G. Warburg, Lehman Brothers) in London, New York and Mexico City, as well as serving as Global Head of Business Development and Interim Director of Marketing for Linklaters, a leading international law firm. Ori is also a Meyler Campbell graduate, a founder of Gara Consulting and author of High Impact Fee Negotiation and Management for Professionals. With experience as a fee-earner; as a client of PSFs; as an internal consultant within a partnership, and as an independent advisor, consultant and provider of coaching and training services to PSFs, he brings a unique combination of perspectives to his work. Few people have experienced negotiations from as many angles as Ori has!
