Last year’s 'Research in Somerset' event highlighted just how powerful it is when community voices and research come together.
Attendees from the event told us they wanted more ways to:
- Hear about research updates, live projects and priorities
- See voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) groups recognised as researchers and innovators
- Share stories and case studies of real impact
- Build trusted partnerships across the system
- Access guides, resources and spaces for collaboration
Join us on Thursday 6 November in Taunton for a networking brunch where you’ll hear how we've put that feedback into practice, receive project updates, and be introduced to brand-new resources, tools and funding opportunities for voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations across Somerset.
There'll also be plenty of time to connect and network, try things out, and chat with the people behind these new initiatives.
Doors open at 9:30am for tea and coffee, ready for a 10am start.
Tickets are freely available to staff and volunteers from VCFSE groups working in Somerset, health and social care workers, researchers, representatives from statutory bodies, and those that participated in the Somerset Research Engagement Network (REN) project.
