Europe, Meine Liebe, Mon Amour
Overview
“Europe, Meine Liebe, Mon Amour: A performance in Five Absurdities” is a new piece of visual theatre by Bruno Gallagher that takes the form of a series of five absurdist, physical-performance vignettes fusing together elements of object manipulation, mask play, costume-dictated restricted and altered movement and dance. The five Absurdities are inspired by memories and dreams of travels in Europe and elements of autobiography. The work is accompanied by abstract soundscapes and recorded music.
Bruno Gallagher is delighted to be able to share this new work through partnerships with Manipulate and Lyra.
Manipulate is delighted to be working for the first time with Lyra, Scotland’s first theatre for children and teenagers, to share Bruno’s work at Artspace in Craigmillar.
