Welcome to the Brutalist Bootcamp at Alexandra & Ainsworth Estate!
Kick start your weekend on Saturday mornings at 10:30 AM for a unique fitness experience in the iconic Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate.
Join us at our free outdoor exercise session: Brutalist Bootcamp.
Despite the name, the session is suitable for all abilities, a chance to move, feel healthy, socialise, and enjoy the Brutalist architecture as we exercise.
Increase your fitness levels and boost your endorphins through a mix of cardio, strength training, mobility, and bodyweight exercises. Utilising HIIT, circuits and gamified athletic drills, the session is suitable for all abilities from the hardcore fitness fanatics to those starting or getting back to fitness.

Frequently asked questions
Wear suitable trainers, workout clothes, and water. Bring an exercise/yoga mat and resistance bands if you have, not to worry if you don't have.
Exercises can be modified and adapted for all abilities to ensure everyone gets the most out of the session. Anyone under 16 years old must be accompanied and supervised by a participating adult at all times, the session is not be suitable for anyone under 13 years old.
Yes, non-residents are welcome and encouraged to enjoy the fitness class in beautiful brutalist surroundings.
The session will continue if there is light rain / wind. In heavier conditions the session will relocate to the Tenants Hall if it is available.
