Day 1: 02/10/19 - 9am -3:30pm

Day 2: 03/10/19 -9am -3:30pm

Day 3: 28/10/19 - 9am- 3:30pm

Day 4 (half day): 10/12/19 9am -12:30pm

Training should be attended by:
Teaching assistants (together with the teacher who will be responsible for overseeing the programme in non-ECaR schools).

The training will provide teaching assistants with a range of generic skills and knowledge needed for supporting pupils with decoding, comprehension and language problems as well as training for delivery of the BRWP intervention.

This training will enable TAs to:
• Match a book to any pupil
• Notice and understand pupils’ reading and writing strengths and weaknesses
• Enable a struggling pupil to make rapid progress
